A Home For God’s Work

We long for a permanent home where the Word of God is boldly proclaimed, lives are transformed by the Holy Spirit, and every believer is equipped to reach the lost with the good news of Jesus Christ. A space where church planters thrive, our neighbouring community is blessed, and God is glorified.

The Opportunity: From Rented to Rooted

As we searched for a home for God’s work, a Korean Antioch Presbyterian church building came on the market early this Summer. Now we are in contract for a 2.5 million dollar sale!

This building is a well-maintained 14,000 square foot church, that can seat 300 in the nave, with a great fellowship hall, 9 Sunday School classrooms, office space, and a prime location across the street from a branch of the Edmonton Library. It suits our needs really well, and will allow us a place from which to do God’s work in the city, and be established as we believe God desires for us.

As in most places in Canada, church worship space in Edmonton can be hard to come by. Many older churches are selling to daycares, mosques, and developers. We believe the Lord wants to redeem these spaces for his Kingdom.

Raised

We have raised over 1.6 million dollars in cash and recent pledges from our parishioners. The generosity of God’s people has been astounding!

The Ask

This is how you might be able to help. We would like to raise a million dollars! We want to either cut the mortgage in half, or pay it off completely!

We are asking if you would prayerfully consider partnering with us in this gospel ministry in Edmonton, Alberta. We know that getting bogged down with a heavy mortgage will be distracting from the gospel ministry that God has for us to do. We want this building to be a blessing, not a burden.

Stocks and securities may also be donated. If you are interested in this possibility, please contact the treasurer.
Mail a cheque to our mailing address [c/o #1002, 12319 Jasper Ave, Edmonton, Alberta T5N 4A7] with a memo line of “Capital Campaign.”
Drop off your donation (cash, cheque, bank draft), in an envelope marked as “Capital Campaign” on a Sunday morning in the offering basket at the front entrance.
