Stephen has served and been on staff with Christ the King since 2014. At first, Stephen was the part-time Youth Pastor. Then, that evolved into becoming the Associate Pastor under Rev. Lars. Now, he is the Rector.

Stephen is happily married to his wife, Angie.  Stephen and Angie are parents to three children, Silas, Caleb, and Elyse.

Originally from Colorado, Stephen has been involved in youth ministry for many years, doing volunteer work with Youth With A Mission in Mexico, and assisting with youth groups in the Edmonton area. His ministry has broadened at Christ the King, being ordained to the priesthood [presbyterate] in June 2019.

He completed his Bachelor of Religious Studies in the School of Pastoral Leadership at Vanguard College and his MDiv at Taylor Seminary. If it sounds surprising that he is an Anglican…you’re not wrong. Check out part of his journey to the Anglican Tradition here: Why am I an Anglican?

Stephen enjoys things like camping, reading, good food, and coffee.  Contact him anytime (Stephen@christtheking-edmonton.ca ).  He’d love to meet up and chat!
